Online learning and e-learning (electronic-learning) includes any courses you can access online.

It's a form of independent study. You can work on your assignments when you have time from your computer.

You may be assisted by an instructor who is available to answer questions, provide feedback and encourage discussion.

You can work at your own pace whenever you have time. You can work from anywhere you have computer and Internet access.

With some learning platforms, there are no set class times, so you can do your work any time during the week, day or night.

With others, you need to be online at a specific time every week, so you can speak with your teacher online.

3. Requirements for online learning

Requirements of online learning are similar to learning in a classroom but making sure that you can meet them is more important when learning online. When you need help you can't ask your teacher right away like you would in the classroom.
